Job Purpose
The Field Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling the company’s consumer health products to pharmacies, cooperative societies, hypermarkets, and other retail outlets across Kuwait. The role focuses on expanding the customer base, maintaining strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring product availability and visibility at retail locations, and achieving assigned sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
- Promote and sell the company’s consumer health products, including thermometers, blood pressure monitors, glucometers, and test strips, to pharmacies and retail outlets.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities with pharmacies, cooperative societies, hypermarkets, and other retail customers.
- Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to the growth of the retail and pharmacy channel.
- Conduct regular field visits to assigned territories to ensure strong market coverage.
Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with pharmacists, store managers, and purchasing teams.
- Provide product information, demonstrations, and guidance to customers to support product sales.
- Address customer inquiries and resolve issues related to orders, deliveries, or product availability.
- Gather customer feedback and communicate market insights to management.
Merchandising & In-Store Execution
- Ensure proper product placement, visibility, and merchandising at retail outlets.
- Support the implementation of promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns at the store level.
- Monitor stock levels at customer locations and coordinate replenishment when required.
Market Intelligence
- Monitor competitor activities, product pricing, and market trends within pharmacies and retail stores.
- Provide regular feedback on customer demand, market opportunities, and potential risks.
Reporting & Administration
- Prepare daily or weekly sales and visit reports.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits, orders, and sales activities.
- Coordinate with the sales support, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure timely order processing and delivery.
Skills
Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- 2–5 years of field sales experience in retail or pharmacy channels.
- Familiarity with the pharmacy and retail landscape in Kuwait, including cooperative societies and hypermarkets.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Knowledge of retail operations and pharmacy sales environments in Kuwait.
- Ability to work independently and manage field activities effectively.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales reporting tools.
- Valid driving license in Kuwait is a must.
