Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Set up dining areas for service, ensuring cleanliness, proper table settings, and readiness for guests.
- Greet guests warmly, present menus, and relay orders to the kitchen and bar capacities as needed.
- Take accurate beverage and food orders, confirm special requests, and deliver orders promptly while maintaining accuracy.
- Provide attentive table service, check on guests to anticipate needs, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
- Handle guest inquiries, provide recommendations, and upsell menu items when appropriate and within policy.
- Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards; uphold sanitation procedures for dining areas and service stations.
- Assist with side duties such as clearing tables, resetting for new guests, and ensuring restrooms and public areas are clean.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth service flow and efficient operations during peak hours.
- Adhere to all company policies, beverage and service standards, and local regulations relevant to Kuwait operations.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Current or upcoming internship acceptance or willingness to participate in an internship program.
- Basic understanding of food and beverage service standards; prior hospitality experience is a plus but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a guest-first mindset.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the service schedule.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Kuwait and able to comply with local health and safety regulations.
