Essential Responsibilities
- Perform petrophysical evaluation, including rock typing and saturation height modeling (SHF) for integration into reservoir models.
- Contribute to the preparation and delivery of field development plans from a petrophysical perspective.
- Coach, mentor, and support junior petrophysicists, promoting knowledge transfer and technical excellence.
- Lead comprehensive petrophysical interpretation and multi-mineral analysis across multiple wells.
- Develop and execute advanced petrophysical workflows to support reservoir characterization and static modeling, with a strong emphasis on carbonate reservoirs.
- Provide technical consultancy support when required; prior consulting experience is an advantage.
Qualifications/Requirements
University degree in Geology/Geophysics/Geoscience/Physics
Minimum 15 years of industry experience in an oil exploration and production company or international service company with expertise in Petrophysical interpretation and model building
• Consulting Previous work experience is an added advantage.
Expertise in multi-mineral analysis formation evaluation.
Expertise in petrophysical evaluation.
Expertise in multi-well petrophysics, rock typing, saturation height modeling (SHF) to support static modeling carbonates.
Should be proficient in developing Petrophysical workflow
Expertise in latest logging technologies and workflows for reservoir characterization
Expertise in RCAL & SCAL of conventional and unconventional cores, QC and integration
Should be proficient in Petrophysical uncertainty analysis
Experience in preparation of field development plan from Petrophysical point of view
Has coaching and mentoring ability to impart skills and knowledge to younger team members.
Willing to carry out other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.
