Job Summary
An assistant real estate manager will support in managing and accelerating the strategic growth of Alghanim’s retail, automotive and corporate brands in the region by actively getting involved in site selection, site finding, negotiating on rental agreements, and coordinating team activities within the Facilities/Real estate team function.
Job Responsibilities
- Partner with business leaders, in supporting the achievement of the growth targets.
- Liaise with market planning and market insiders to identify and pursuit opportunities for growth in accordance with market strategy and individual brand goals.
- Leverage existing or new network and business relationships to identify and secure the required number of locations to successfully support brand growth in the designated markets.
- Manage brokers, developers, and other sources for new sites and present and explain brand requirements and expectations related to the different business units.
- Real estate management of the assigned portfolio to ensure all lease agreements are renewed timely and changes in terms are recorded accurately.
- Follow up on all assigned portfolio transactions such as rent payments, renewal & surrender of contracts, and new leases
- Asset management to ensure compliance with lease terms and conditions
- Timely resolving operational issues with landlords that affect business unit operations
- Ensure that the strategic plans, elements of the individual business plan related to real estate are closely monitored.
- Create site documentation for the different stakeholders to present new locations internally and allow the facility teams to design and project manage them accordingly.
- Preparing site packages for all new premises, analysing demographics and catchment areas, and coordinating with corporate stakeholders for necessary approvals.
- Support the facilities team in managing new projects, with landlord contacts or problem resolution when real estate related.
- Use technology to mark, map out and identify locations and allow access for the broader team.
Candidate Requirements
- Fluent bilingual in English & Arabic
- Should have solid knowledge and understanding of the Real Estate Market
- Should have solid knowledge and understanding of the Municipal Governmental and Commercial Licensing Procedures for Real Estate Business.
- Should have a wealth of contacts and relations with landlords, Brokers and Government Authorities related to the business.
- Financial and analytical acumen.
- Strong communication skills and Customer Relations Expertise
- Holds a valid driving license.
- Computer literate
- At least 5 -7 years’ experience in Real Estate and proven track record.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or any related field
