Role Summary The Mechanical Engineer will oversee and manage all mechanical engineering activities across the project lifecycle, ensuring compliance with design standards, technical specifications, and project requirements.
This role involves coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, reviewing engineering deliverables, and supporting the successful execution of mechanical systems within infrastructure or building projects.
The engineer will play a key role in ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in all mechanical works.
Key Responsibilities Review mechanical design drawings, specifications, and technical documents for accuracy and compliance.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
Monitor mechanical works on-site to ensure adherence to project standards and timelines.
Support installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Conduct inspections and ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and best practices.
Participate in technical meetings, design reviews, and coordination workshops.
Prepare reports, documentation, and progress updates related to mechanical activities.
Contribute to value engineering initiatives and design optimization efforts.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum 12 years of experience in infrastructure or building projects.
Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methodologies, and industry standards.
Experience working on large‑scale or complex developments is preferred.
Excellent coordination, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
