Role Summary The Building Inspector will be responsible for conducting detailed inspections of construction activities, verifying compliance with approved drawings, codes, and standards.
This role requires strong technical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to identify issues early and recommend corrective actions.
The inspector will work closely with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure the project is executed with excellence and safety.
Key Responsibilities • Perform routine and detailed inspections of building and infrastructure works.
• Verify compliance with project specifications, construction drawings, and local regulations.
• Identify deviations, defects, or non‑conformities and recommend corrective measures.
• Document inspection findings through reports, checklists, and photographic evidence.
• Monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Participate in site meetings and provide input on quality‑related matters.
• Support testing, commissioning, and final handover inspections.
Qualifications & Requirements • Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure, building, or construction projects.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, building codes, and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Effective communication and reporting abilities.
• Experience working on large‑scale or complex construction projects is preferred.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
