Role Summary The Safety & Security Inspector will be responsible for monitoring, inspecting, and enforcing safety and security standards across the project site.
This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, project-specific safety plans, and international best practices.
The inspector will work closely with contractors, consultants, and internal teams to maintain a safe working environment, prevent incidents, and ensure the protection of personnel, assets, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities Conduct regular safety and security inspections across the project site.
Monitor compliance with safety procedures, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Identify hazards, unsafe conditions, and security risks, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
Review contractor safety documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and emergency plans.
Support incident investigations, prepare reports, and follow up on corrective and preventive measures.
Coordinate with site teams to ensure proper implementation of safety and security measures.
Assist in conducting safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.
Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports related to safety and security activities.
Support emergency response planning and drills.
Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or relevant technical qualification in safety, security, or a related field.
Minimum 8 years of experience in infrastructure or building projects.
Strong understanding of safety regulations, security protocols, and construction site practices.
Experience working on large‑scale or complex developments is preferred.
Excellent communication, observation, and reporting skills.
Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams and contractors.
