Job Summary

The Accountant is responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records. This role handles bookkeeping, invoicing, payroll support, and account reconciliations, while supporting monthly financial reporting and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal company controls.


Key Responsibilities

  • Record and process daily financial transactions in accordance with accounting policies.
  • Manage bookkeeping activities, including general ledger entries and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices; monitor collections and payment status.
  • Support payroll processing by preparing payroll data and related reconciliations.
  • Perform bank, cash, and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial closing activities.
  • Prepare supporting schedules and reports for management and auditors.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external parties on finance-related matters.

Skills

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
  • Experience with accounting software and ERP systems is an advantage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.
  • Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
