Job Title: Adjunct Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty

Reports To: Dean, School of Engineering and Computing
Location: Kuwait City, Kuwait
Job Purpose

American International University (AIU) invites applications for qualified Electrical and Computer Engineering faculty to join its adjunct teaching pool and be considered for part-time teaching opportunities. Adjunct pool members may be contacted to teach introductory, general education, or selected major courses depending on departmental needs and individual qualifications. Adjunct Faculty contribute to AIU’s mission by teaching undergraduate courses and mentoring students in a collaborative and innovative learning environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate courses within assigned disciplines


• Prepare and deliver engaging course materials aligned with curriculum standards


• Support student learning and success both inside and outside the classroom


• Collaborate with full-time faculty in curriculum development and program assessment


• Participate in periodic evaluations and contribute to continuous academic improvement

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Excellent communication and instructional skills in English (language of instruction is English)


• Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and student success


• Ability to engage effectively with diverse student and faculty populations


• Proficiency in instructional technology and learning management systems

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree or higher (Ph.D. preferred for some subjects) in Electronical and Computer Engineering or related field.


• University-level teaching experience in the discipline required


• Industry experience in the teaching field preferred


• Commitment to academic quality and professional integrity
