We are constantly growing and are currently looking for a full of potential and reliable Electrical Procurement Engineer (I & C) to join our top qualified and knowledgeable team in one of our projects in Kuwait and electrical equipment and systems for project reliability and compliance, ensuring compatibility of electrical systems in hazardous environments.

• Source electrical equipment including emergency diesel generators, MV/LV transformers, MV switchgear and modifications woks, package substations, UPS systems, explosion-proof distribution boards, lighting fixtures, poles, local control stations, MOV isolating switches, HV/LV power/control cables, cable glands, earthing materials, and cable trays.
• Procure instrumentation/telecom equipment including control systems (PCS, ESD, FGS), telecom systems, motor-operated valves, ESD valves, pressure/temperature/level transmitters, Coriolis flowmeters, gauges, F&G devices, auto sampling systems, I&C cables, fiber optic cables, junction boxes, cable trays, glands, and tubes/fittings.
• Ensure compliance with electrical standards.
• Ensure compliance with instrumentation/telecom standards.
• Negotiate with suppliers the cost-effective electrical equipment.
• Negotiate with suppliers the cost-effective instrumentation / telecom / F&G equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for material compliance.
• Collaborate with engineering teams for material compliance.
• Close coordination with Post order team (Expediting Team) for Vendor deliverables
• Close coordination with Post order team (Expediting Team) for Vendor deliverables.
• Negotiate with suppliers for high-precision equipment.

• BSc in Electrical  Instrumentation, or Telecom Engineering.
  
  Preference for graduates from recognized accredited universities or institutions in automation/control programs
• Knowledge of electrical systems (e.g., transformers, switchgear), of instrumentation/control systems, telecom equipment, and procurement, and safety standards.
• Oil & gas I&C experience, UAE/Kuwait standards.gas electrical systems experience, UAE/Kuwait standards.
•  Enhances SCM team with electrical and I & C expertise.
• 3–5 years of design and engineering experience in electrical systems as well as instrumentation and control prior to procurement role.
• Procurement experience in oil & gas and marine projects.
