About the job:


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Waiter role to join the In Room Dining team at Jumeirah Messilah Beach.


Your main duties will include:


  • To have a complete understanding about the company’s policy relating to Food hygiene and Safe Food Handling practices.


  • To have a complete understanding about the Service standards relating to dish, preparation of trolley as per standards for the outlet.


  • To identify and request assistance if required, prior to any breakdowns occurring.


  • To ensure all “the received item for the outlet” are accurately stag and stored well with following F.I.F.O. rotation.


  • To ensure all the department information should be well communicating with the other team members. 


  • To have complete understanding about the department ordering procedure to run the operation flowless.


  • To ensure that always giving the prioritize to reduce the breakage and the colleague’s engagements.


  • To have a complete understanding and the importance of the business requirement to stay and support the team.


  • To Be responsible for overlooking the operation for Minibar, amenities and the Ird guest orders with other supervisors.


  • To be familiar with Symphony Micros for the guest orders.


  • Always communicating the daily operation challenges with the supervisor and with the outlet manger.


Qualifications:


About you:


  • Should have 1-year minimum experience to work in a five-star hotel.


  • Able to handle multiple tasks.


  • Work in a multicultural environment.


  • Knowledge of the international cuisine.


  • Knowledge of HACCP as well as general health & safety in the workplace.
