Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Storekeeper with strong knowledge of IT-based inventory management systems and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring efficient storage, issuance, and control of materials in line with company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day store and warehouse operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using IT-based inventory and management systems.
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming materials and equipment.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of stock.
  • Issue materials as per approved requests and maintain stock movement records.
  • Conduct regular stock counts, audits, and reconciliation.
  • Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely reordering to avoid shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, security, and warehouse procedures.
  • Prepare inventory reports and provide updates to management.
  • Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and internal departments.

Requirements & Skills:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems, inventory management software, and MS Excel.
  • Good understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Strong organizational, record-keeping, and reporting skills.
  • Ability to manage inventory efficiently and accurately.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Knowledge of basic safety and storage standards.


Skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in handling IT equipment, spare parts, or technical inventory.
  • Certification or training in inventory or warehouse management is an advantage.
