Job Purpose:

The HSE Trainer is responsible for developing, delivering, and evaluating health, safety, and environmental training programs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. The role aims to promote a strong safety culture and reduce workplace incidents through effective education and awareness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Training Development & Delivery
• Design and implement HSE training programs (induction, refresher courses, specialized safety topics).
• Conduct classroom and on-site training sessions for employees and contractors.
• Prepare training materials, presentations, and manuals aligned with industry best practices.
• Compliance & Standards
• Ensure training programs comply with local regulations, international standards (ISO 45001, OSHA), and company policies.
• Maintain accurate training records and certification tracking.
• Risk Awareness & Safety Culture
• Promote proactive safety behaviors and hazard awareness.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety campaigns.
• Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
• Assess training effectiveness through tests, feedback, and performance metrics.
• Update training content based on incident trends, audits, and regulatory changes.

Skills

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Certifications: NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA, or equivalent.
• Experience: 3+ years in HSE training or safety management.
