Key Responsibilities Litigation & Dispute Support (Kuwait-Related Matters) • Draft, review, and finalize legal pleadings, statements of claim, defense memoranda, and procedural submissions relating to corporate, commercial, civil, capital markets, and competition law matters. • Provide legal support on disputes, complaints, and cases connected with regulatory and supervisory authorities in Kuwait, including matters involving the Competition Protection Authority and other competent bodies. • Analyze case files, identify legal risks, and propose litigation strategies and legal arguments. • Support Kuwait-based teams with legal research, drafting, and substantive legal input on ongoing disputes. • Prepare structured legal summaries, case assessments, and recommendations as required. Legal Advisory • Provide legal advice and written legal opinions on corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters under Kuwaiti law.• Deliver advice that is practical, commercially focused, and client-specific, avoiding generic or purely theoretical legal analysis. • Support advisory matters related to capital markets, competition law, and regulatory compliance from a legal perspective. Candidate Profile & Qualifications • Egyptian national (mandatory). • Remote / freelance engagement, based in Egypt. • Minimum 5–7 years of relevant legal experience, with demonstrable exposure to Kuwait-related legal matters (mandatory). • Strong litigation background covering corporate, commercial, civil, capital markets, and competition law. • Proven experience in drafting and reviewing legal pleadings, memoranda, and legal opinions. • Bachelor’s degree in Law (mandatory). • Master’s degree in Law or relevant specialization (preferred). • Excellent legal drafting skills in Arabic. • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and coordinate remotely with on-ground legal teams in Kuwait. • Professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high-quality legal work.
