We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Manager - Contracts to join our dynamic team in Al Ahmadi, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of contract management processes and will be responsible for overseeing the negotiation, execution, and administration of contracts with various stakeholders. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex legal frameworks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements while protecting the organization's interests. The Manager - Contracts will collaborate closely with various departments, including procurement, legal, and project management, to facilitate smooth operations and mitigate risks associated with contractual obligations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the contract management process from inception to execution, ensuring that all contracts are compliant with company policies and legal standards.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with vendors, clients, and partners to secure favorable agreements that align with organizational objectives.
- Review and analyze contract documents to identify potential risks and recommend strategies for mitigation.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster collaboration and ensure effective communication.
- Monitor contract performance and compliance, conducting regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams regarding contract interpretation and execution.
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends to inform contract management practices.
- Prepare and present reports on contract status, risks, and opportunities to senior management.
- Train and mentor junior staff on contract management best practices and procedures.
- Assist in the development of contract templates and standard operating procedures to streamline the contracting process.
Preferred Candidate:
- Proven experience in contract management, preferably in a managerial role within a corporate setting.
- Should have previous working experience with EPC company.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of successfully closing complex contracts.
