HR Generalist

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented HR Generalist to join our dynamic team in Kuwait. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of human resources practices, policies, and employment laws, as well as the ability to effectively manage various HR functions. The HR Generalist will play a crucial role in supporting the HR department in its efforts to enhance employee engagement, streamline HR processes, and ensure compliance with local regulations. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work collaboratively across all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities:

  1. Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, screening resumes, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.
  2. Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
  3. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that align with the company's goals and enhance organizational efficiency.
  4. Conduct employee training and development programs to foster skill enhancement and career growth.
  5. Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
  6. Assist in performance management processes, including setting performance goals, conducting evaluations, and providing feedback.
  7. Address employee relations issues, providing guidance and support to employees and management to resolve conflicts effectively.
  8. Stay updated on HR trends and labor legislation to ensure the company remains compliant and competitive.
  9. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.
  10. Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving employee satisfaction and organizational effectiveness.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
  2. At least 3 years of experience in HR, preferably in a generalist role.
  3. Strong knowledge of local labor laws and regulations.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  5. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  6. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  7. Proactive and solution-oriented mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement.
  8. Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  9. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
