We are seeking a dynamic and goals-driven Sales Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales of construction chemicals and building materials (e.g., concrete admixtures, waterproofing solutions, tile adhesives, repair mortars, flooring compounds, etc.) by identifying construction chemicals manufacturers and main sub-contractors and offering products, systems and solutions throughout the construction projects’ value chain.
Key Responsibilities
· Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients in the construction and building materials sector.
· Identify and target potential customers through networking, referrals, and research to generate sales opportunities (residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects).
· Provide technical expertise to clients on the range of construction materials and products, ensuring the best solutions for their needs.
· Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to clients, explaining technical specifications, benefits, and applications.
· Prepare and submit quotations, negotiate contracts, and close deals to meet sales targets.
· Maintain strong relationships with the industry stakeholders, main subcontractors, consultants, governmental bodies and ministries.
Qualifications
- At least 10 years of proven experience in sales within the construction or building materials industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of building materials, construction processes, and industry standards.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and trust with clients.
- Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Bilingual – Arabic mother tongue and fluent English.
