HR & Admin Manager

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR & Admin Manager to join our team in Kuwait. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our human resources and administrative functions operate efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with our business goals, as well as managing all aspects of administrative operations. You will play a crucial role in fostering a positive workplace culture, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Your expertise will be vital in driving initiatives that improve organizational performance and employee satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
  2. Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring the attraction and retention of high-quality candidates.
  3. Oversee employee onboarding and training programs to ensure a smooth transition for new hires.
  4. Monitor and report on HR metrics, providing insights to management for decision-making.
  5. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, keeping the organization updated on changes in legislation.
  6. Foster a positive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and conflict resolution.
  7. Manage employee performance appraisal processes and develop improvement plans where necessary.
  8. Coordinate administrative functions including office management, facility maintenance, and vendor relations.
  9. Provide guidance and support to management on HR-related issues, promoting best practices.
  10. Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures to ensure consistency and compliance.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably in a private sector environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of HR functions, labor laws, and best practices.
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.
  4. Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
  6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  7. Proficiency in HR software and MS Office applications.
  8. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  9. A proactive approach to continuous improvement and employee development.
  10. Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
