We are seeking skilled electricians with expertise in the oil and gas industry to join our dynamic team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait. The ideal candidates will have a strong background in electrical systems specific to oil and gas operations, including installations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical equipment used in hazardous environments. This role demands a commitment to safety standards, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in high-pressure settings. Electricians will be responsible for ensuring that electrical systems are installed, maintained, and operated in compliance with local regulations and industry standards, particularly in the oil and gas sector.

Responsibilities:

  1. Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures specifically designed for oil and gas applications, including pumps, compressors, and control systems.
  2. Diagnose electrical problems in oil and gas facilities and provide effective solutions to ensure the safety and functionality of critical systems.
  3. Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications related to oil and gas electrical systems to ensure proper installation and maintenance.
  4. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices during electrical installations and repairs in hazardous areas.
  5. Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems to identify potential issues before they affect operations.
  6. Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support the electrical aspects of oil and gas projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.
  7. Document all maintenance and repair work performed, maintaining accurate records for regulatory compliance and future reference.
  8. Stay updated on the latest electrical technologies and industry trends in oil and gas to enhance skills and operational efficiency.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service by effectively communicating with clients and addressing their concerns promptly during project execution.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an electrician in the oil and gas sector, with a strong understanding of industry-specific electrical systems and equipment.
  2. In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, wiring methods, and safety protocols relevant to hazardous environments in oil and gas operations.
  3. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations.
  4. Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients, team members, and other stakeholders in a collaborative environment.
  5. Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality workmanship and adherence to safety practices in the oil and gas industry.
