We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Man to join our team in Al Kuwait, Kuwait, specifically within the oil and gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of the facility's floors, particularly in areas where heavy machinery and equipment are utilized. This role requires a strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Floor Man will be tasked with using various cleaning equipment and chemicals to achieve the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel involved in oil and gas operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily cleaning and maintenance of all floor surfaces in operational areas, including drilling rigs and equipment storage facilities, ensuring they are free from spills and debris.
- Inspect and report any damages or issues with flooring materials, particularly in high-traffic areas, and recommend appropriate repairs to maintain safety standards.
- Utilize appropriate cleaning agents and machinery safely and effectively, following all safety protocols specific to the oil and gas industry.
- Assist in setting up and breaking down areas for operations, ensuring floors are clean and presentable before and after shifts.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to ensure uninterrupted operations.
