We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Manager to join our esteemed law firm in Sharq, Kuwait. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources practices and processes, ensuring that the organization is aligned with legal requirements and best practices. The HR Manager will play a key role in developing HR strategies that support the business objectives and foster a positive work environment. This position requires a proactive approach to managing talent, implementing employee engagement initiatives, and driving organizational culture. The HR Manager will also be instrumental in enhancing employee performance through effective training and development programs.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy of the law firm.
  2. Manage the recruitment and selection process to attract top legal talent, including drafting job descriptions, posting vacancies, and conducting interviews.
  3. Oversee employee onboarding processes, ensuring new hires are integrated smoothly into the firm.
  4. Implement performance management systems that drive employee engagement and support professional development.
  5. Maintain and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  6. Conduct regular employee satisfaction surveys and develop action plans based on feedback.
  7. Manage employee relations and resolve workplace conflicts in a timely and effective manner.
  8. Coordinate training and development programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  9. Prepare and analyze HR metrics to inform decision-making and improve HR practices.
  10. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Preferred Candidate:

  1. Proven experience as an HR Manager or similar role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
  2. Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices in Kuwait.
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with employees at all levels.
  4. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  5. Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to foster a collaborative team culture.
  6. Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address HR challenges.
  8. Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing work environment.
  9. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in HR practices.
  10. Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred.
