Job Summary:
The Spare Parts Sales Engineer will be responsible for selling a wide range of spare parts for heavy and industrial equipment. The role involves managing existing client relationships while expanding the client base, ensuring customer satisfaction, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to company sales policies and reporting systems as directed by management.
- Travel to visit potential and existing clients.
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Understand customer spare parts requirements and advise using relevant spare parts manuals.
- Meet regular sales targets and generate accurate offers by estimating all involved costs.
- Respond to client questions and requests with technical and engineering information.
- Understand customer decision-making processes.
- Deliver technical presentations and demonstrate product benefits.
- Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions to close sales effectively.
- Follow up on deliveries and assist in collections as needed.
- Prepare weekly call plans and visit reports.
- Gather and maintain customer machine population data.
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer issues.
- Maintain a customer-centric approach to ensure high satisfaction and profitability.
Requirements:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration.
- Experience:
- 3–5 years’ experience in spare parts sales, preferably in heavy and industrial equipment.
- Licensing:
- Must hold a valid Kuwait Driving License.
- Validation by Kuwait Society of Engineers is a plus.
- Languages:
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
