Government Relations Officer

  • The role liaises with the relevant government bodies in order to ensure completion of formalities and document processing. Moreover, the responsibilities include carrying out tasks related to the processing of employee’s visas and work permits and government related documents in order to support company employees. 
  • Follow-up the issuance of work visa and residences for the concerned employees and new expatriates  
  • Follow-up the official transactions of employees at various government authorities 
  • Manage regulatory procedures to ensure transfer of residence for the new recruits 
  • Interacts with all government personnel or departments to procure and renew licenses, approvals, certificates, attestations, and authentications, to ensure all government-related transactions are completed in a timely and appropriate manner 

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, preferably in Human Resources, from an accredited institution or equivalent. 
  • Arabic language communication both verbal and written is a must
  • 3 years previous experience in similar role 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills 
  • In-depth knowledge of relevant government laws and regulations
