Internal Audit Assistant

Kuwait

Our company is looking for an Internal Audit Assistant to work closely with the Internal Audit Manager in conducting audits and reviews across various departments and processes. This position reports to the Internal Audit Manager and the CFO.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in planning and executing internal audits based on established audit programs.
  • Prepare audit working papers and documentation to support findings and recommendations.
  • Assist in the development of audit reports and presentations for management.
  • Follow up on audit recommendations to ensure timely implementation and resolution.
  • Conduct full audits, assess risks, and take necessary risk management steps to predict fraud.
  • Prepare and present reports that clearly reflect audit results.
  • Obtain, analyze, and evaluate accounting documentation, reports, and data.
  • Study and inspect budgets, balance sheets, and other financial records and statements.
  • Verify if accounting books and records align with best practices and corporate guidelines.
  • Update departments on audit findings and suggest improvements in audit processes.
  • Assist in conducting risk assessments, preparing risk registers, and performing compliance testing.
  • Test controls and procedures to identify weaknesses and areas for improvement.

Desired Requirements, Qualifications, and Experience:

  • Education: Degree in B.Com/BBA with a specialization in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in auditing.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Knowledge of auditing processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other accounting software.
  • Experience using ERP systems or accounting software packages.
  • Language Requirements: Fluency in Hindi is required; Arabic working knowledge is an added advantage.
  • Additional Advantage: Possession of a Kuwait driving license.
