e are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee the manufacturing and coating operations of steel pipes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing production schedules, ensuring quality control, optimizing operational efficiency, and maintaining safety standards. The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and hands-on experience in steel pipe manufacturing and coating processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and oversee the entire production process, ensuring efficiency and timely delivery of products.
- Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization.
- Supervise and lead production teams, ensuring adherence to best practices and company policies.
- Monitor production performance and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.
- Ensure compliance with quality control standards and regulatory requirements for steel pipe manufacturing and coating.
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation of machinery and equipment.
- Oversee raw material procurement and inventory management to ensure continuous production.
- Maintain strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the production facility.
- Analyze production data and generate reports to improve operational decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality control, procurement, and logistics.
Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Metallurgy, or a related field.
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in steel pipe manufacturing and coating operations, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Strong understanding of steel fabrication, coating technologies (e.g., FBE, 3LPE), and production processes.
- Hands-on experience with production planning, resource allocation, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in quality management systems (ISO 9001, API, etc.) and industry regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate with teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
