Job Responsibilities
- Participate in preparing a plan for each audit process.
- Execute detailed audit processes by reviewing documents, records, reports, and policies and procedures, and draft related reports.
- Keep IA supervisor informed of the status of audits in progress and any potential problems or significant audit findings as they arise.
- Ensures that documentation obtained contains sufficient, competent, and relevant evidential matter to support the conclusions reached.
- Ensure procedures, policies, legislation and regulations are correctly followed and complied with.
- Evaluate internal controls in the audit area assigned and provide input to the development of the audit scope and audit procedures.
- Provide supporting information for audit reports, including action plans to achieve visible improvements to internal controls and processes.
- Perform follow-up on the status of outstanding internal audit observations and report pending audit recommendations.
- Provide guidance for other auditors.
- Abide to safety regulations as per HSE policy/manual
- Non- Disclosure policy as per CGC Non- Disclosure Procedure and Kuwait labor law
Skills
Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or any suitable discipline
- 3 to 6 years of work experience as an auditor
- Understanding of the technical aspects of accounting and financial reporting
- Experience in the construction field will be an advantage
- Communication Skills – Written and Oral
- Good command in Arabic & English languages
- Experience working with Microsoft Office
