Events Sales Executive
The Events Sales Executive is responsible for generating and closing sales for event-related services, managing client relationships, and ensuring the successful execution of events. The role requires strong sales skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to coordinate various event services.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and prospect new clients and business opportunities within the events industry.
- Use cold calling, networking, and email campaigns to generate leads.
Client Consultation and Proposal Development:
- Meet with clients to understand their event needs, budgets, and requirements.
- Develop tailored proposals, presentations, and pricing packages.
Sales and Negotiation:
- Close sales and negotiate terms, pricing, and packages that align with client budgets.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Event Coordination and Management:
- Act as the primary contact for clients during the sales and event planning process.
- Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and suppliers to ensure successful event execution.
Relationship Management and Customer Satisfaction:
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Ensure client satisfaction before, during, and after the event.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Hospitality, Interior Design or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales or event management roles.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of event industry trends, venues, and logistics.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in specific event segments (e.g., corporate events, weddings).
- Familiarity with stage and theatrical design, venue analysis, and floor planning.
