Responsibilities:
Supply management:
Oversee and optimize the end-to-end supply chain, from raw material sourcing to product delivery.
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure components and materials are purchased on time and at the right cost.
Inventory control:
Manage and monitor inventory levels to prevent stock outs or overstocks.
Implement effective inventory tracking systems to monitor and analyze inventory levels.
Quality control:
Develop and enforce quality control standards for all food and beverage products.
Implement and monitor food safety regulations and procedures.
Production Planning:
Coordinate production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste.
Optimize production processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Team leadership:
Supervising and leading a team of production employees, and ensuring their adherence to safety and quality standards.
Provide training and support to team members for continuous improvement.
Budget preparation and cost management:
Develop and manage operations budgets, ensuring cost effectiveness and profitability.
Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
Required audit:
Stay current with industry regulations and ensure compliance with local, state and federal food safety standards.
Work with regulatory agencies to address and resolve compliance issues.
Customer service:
Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
Monitor and improve customer satisfaction metrics.
Vendor management:
Cultivate and manage relationships with key vendors and suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to obtain favorable terms.
qualifications:
Educational background:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field. A master's degree is often preferred.
