The Catering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the catering operations at our burger
restaurant. This role includes managing catering orders, driving sales through booking generation,
ensuring excellent customer service, supervising staff, and maintaining the highest standards of food
quality and presentation. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent organizational
skills, and the ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Catering Operations
Oversee the execution of all catering orders, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and quality.
Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure all menu items are prepared to restaurant
standards.
Manage delivery schedules and logistics for on-time delivery or pick-up.
Booking Generation and Sales
Proactively generate new catering bookings through networking, outreach, and relationship-
building with local businesses, schools, and event organizers.
Maintain and update a database of prospective and repeat clients to increase bookings.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create campaigns and promotional materials to drive
catering sales.
Develop strategies to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Customer Service
Serve as the primary point of contact for catering clients, from initial inquiry to order
completion.
Provide professional and courteous service, addressing any customer concerns or feedback
promptly.
Offer menu suggestions and assist clients in customizing orders based on their needs.
Team Management
Supervise and train catering staff to maintain high standards of service and efficiency.
Assign tasks and oversee daily operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing coaching and support to team
members.
Quality Control and Compliance
Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are strictly followed during preparation,
delivery, and service.
Monitor inventory and supplies specific to catering needs, placing orders as necessary.
Handle equipment maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
Skills
Must be bi-lingual (Arabic and English)
Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in catering, sales, or supervisory roles.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to lead and motivate a team in a high-pressure environment.
Demonstrated success in sales or booking generation, with the ability to meet or exceed targets.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Proficiency Microsoft Office tools.
