Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Fashion Designer and Illustrator at Luxury Recruit International in Kuwait City Metropolitan Area. The role involves tasks such as embroidery, fashion design, fitting, textiles, and creating innovative fashion concepts.

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Fashion Designer and Illustrator to join a leading womenswear lifestyle brand in Kuwait. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Creative Director in conceptualizing and developing innovative designs and illustrations that align with the brand's unique vision. • Design Development: Collaborate with the Creative Director to conceptualize and execute design ideas for womenswear collections.
• Fashion Illustration: Create detailed sketches, illustrations, and technical drawings for garments, accessories, and textiles.
• Trend and Market Research: Stay updated on global and regional fashion trends, fabrics, and cultural inspirations to inspire and align designs with the brand’s aesthetic.
• Production Readiness: Translate creative ideas into production-ready designs, ensuring alignment with quality standards.
• Mood and Concept Boards: Develop and present mood boards and storyboards to communicate design concepts effectively.
• Feedback Iteration: Revise and adapt designs based on feedback to meet project and brand requirements.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field.

Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in fashion design and illustration, preferably in womenswear or lifestyle brands.

Skills:

• Exceptional drawing and sketching abilities (both hand-drawn and digital).
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.) and other relevant design tools.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and fashion trends.
• High attention to detail with a strong sense of aesthetics and innovation.

Preferred Qualifications:
