Planning Engineer

-To plan and oversee the entire program of work and must anticipate a contract's demands in term of labour, materials, equipment and technical challenges .

-To report on project activities, problems, and requirements to project management.

-To get involved in project-related tasks and follow up on project activities through completion.

- To ensure that all commercial and contractual matters relating to a specific project are properly actioned in accordance with the contract documents and company IMS Procedures.

-Oversee projects execution in the means of Project Cost Control and its schedule planning. ·

-Define the project plans and timelines.

- Responsible for supporting the cost group in any area of the project as required, which includes direct and indirect construction/services subcontracts.

-Responsible to support tracking, establishing and maintaining cost tools. · Responsible for assisting with trend development, and budgets and forecasted cost updated in the project controls systems.

-Responsible for planning and scheduling the work.

-Responsible to support claims analysis and provides recommendations.

- Manage payment collection from a project management point of view.

-Manage the department and projects human resources.

-Manage department and projects communication processes to ensure that all processes are applied and followed.

- Ensure continuous improvement of the communication stream and apply any new relevant standards. · Risk management, including risk assessment strategy and policies for the overall organization.

- Ensure proper execution of the risk strategy throughout the project’s lifecycle. · Ensure Risk strategy awareness and training for the relevant employees, project managers, and departments’ heads.

- Monitor work progress according to schedules and budget.

-Evaluate and prepare forecast all policy changes and recommend appropriate business requirements.

-Control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers,vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.

-Attend assigned weekly subcontractor status and review meetings.

-Participate in all evaluation meetings.

Skills

-Bachelor's Engineering degree in related discipline is preferred Min. Experience 5 years. ·

-Minimum 8 years of experience in planning and cost control construction of Flowline experience.

- Experience in cost management, performing, reviewing cost engineering functions, including cost estimating, budgeting, and cost analysis, in the field and the home office is preferred. ·

-Good working knowledge of Primavera,MS Office and other common business software.

-Experience and demonstrated skill in performing, monitoring, reviewing and presenting project. ·

-Planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, schedule analysis with demonstrated skill in establishing criteria, planning and supervising project scheduling activities. ·

-Skilled in oral and written communication.
