As a Dental Technologist/Technician at New Osler for Medical Services, you will play a key role in producing dental prosthetics, restorations, and appliances, ensuring that all work meets the exact specifications set by our clients. You will work closely with our team to fabricate crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and other dental devices, using your technical expertise and attention to detail to ensure top-quality results.
Your work will support the clinical team by creating prosthetics that not only fit perfectly but also offer optimal functionality and aesthetic appeal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Case Work: Fabricate high-quality dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, and other dental devices, based on case requirements.
- Collaboration: Work with dental professionals (dentists and prosthodontists) to understand case requirements and specifications, ensuring precise execution.
- Attention to Detail: Ensure all restorations meet the highest standards of quality and fit, performing necessary adjustments as needed.
- Use of Technology: Operate advanced dental technology and equipment, including CAD/CAM systems, 3D printers, and digital impressions, to enhance precision and efficiency.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect and assess finished products for accuracy, ensuring that they meet both client and regulatory standards.
- Timely Production: Manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting production deadlines and quality expectations.
- Troubleshooting: Provide support and suggestions to resolve issues with dental appliances or cases, ensuring smooth workflow.
Skills
- Dental Technology/Technician Certification or equivalent education and training in dental technology.
- Proven experience as a dental technologist or technician in the fabrication of dental prosthetics, restorations, or appliances.
- Proficiency in the use of dental technology, including CAD/CAM systems, 3D printers, and other digital dental tools/software.
- Knowledge of dental materials, including ceramics, metals, acrylics, and composite materials.
- Strong attention to detail and precision, with the ability to create accurate, high-quality dental products.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
