We are looking for a full-time, on-site Senior Accountant with extensive hands-on experience in Odoo, specifically in accounting and retail modules. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in accounting, proficiency in Odoo for retail operations, and fluency in English. This role involves managing financial records, performing reconciliations, preparing reports, and handling essential administrative duties.
Responsibilities:
Oversee and maintain accurate financial records in Odoo, ensuring all transactions are entered and categorized appropriately.
Utilize Odoo’s accounting and retail modules to manage retail-related financial operations, including inventory tracking, sales reconciliation, and purchase management.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements, reports, and forecasts to guide management decisions.
Conduct regular bank and account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy.
Process invoices, payments, payroll, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and complete regulatory filings.
Handle general administrative tasks, including document management, scheduling, and data entry.
Support team operations with various administrative duties to maintain a smooth workflow.
Maintain organized records and ensure all practices are aligned with company policies.
Skills
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of accounting experience, with substantial hands-on expertise in Odoo’s accounting and retail modules.
- Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and best practices in retail operations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in the retail industry.
- Familiarity with payroll and compliance in Kuwait.
