Responsibilities:


  1. Provides comprehensive level of assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations. 
  2. Provides high level of administrative and clerical support to the unit, department or function. 
  3. Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the function. 
  4. Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follow-up on issues in a timely manner. 
  5. Collects and prepares background documents for various tasks. 
  6. Follows the university rules and regulations.  
  7. Provides day to day support to the department in all marketing, advertising and public relations activities. 
  8. Assists in the development of external AU advertising material (look & feel, designs printing and promotional material). 
  9. Collects and updates advertising and promotional content from relevant departments. 
  10. Assists in communicating with advertising agencies to setup media plans and media bookings. 
  11. Assists in the development of brochures, flyers and other print collateral. 
  12. Develops and writes social media content. 
  13. Updates the AU corporate branding documentation based on the instructions from the services. 
  14. Assists in videography and photography activities. 
  15. Undertakes other duties as required by the Senior Manager- PR & Marketing. 

Skills

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communication, Marketing, Business Management, or a relevant field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in Social Media content creation & management.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
