Primary Objectives:
- Performs professional accounting and financial work which requires application of established accounting principles and practices to a wide variety of difficult problems.
- Responsible for the supervision of the day to day operations of major segment of an accounting system serving a larger or more complex organization.
Specific Accountabilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment
- Duties include all essential accounting functions including Partnership (JV),accounting, establishment of administrative controls, procedures in accordance with Corporate policies and procedures
- Completion of Original Books of Account, supporting schedules, posting, vouchers, reconciliations, cost distributions, etc
- Monthly Accruals, WIP, Amortization, Assets, Prepayments, Depreciation, etc
- Payroll, Payroll Accruals, Burden Analysis
- Completion of Monthly Financial Statements, Trial Balance, Balance Sheets, P & L,Bank Statements
- Cash Flow Statements, Treasury Reports, Bank Guarantees, Financial Facilities Updates,
- Knowledge and Application of the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Responsible for the timely completion of all required financial and accounting reconciliations
- Responsible for the timely completion and accuracy of Accounts Payables
- Responsible for the timely completion and accuracy of Client Billings
- Responsible for the timely completion and accuracy of Local Payrolls
- Responsible for the timely completion and accuracy of monthly, quarterly, annual reconciliations
- Participate in performance appraisals and competency development of the accounting and finance group
- Participate in all external and internal audits for the financial and accounting area Responsible for all financial and account record keeping.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Must have a degree in commerce or Financial Management
- Minimum good years in post graduation total experience
- Minimum relevant years of experience in a similar role
- Responsible for creation of Service Orders, Service receipts, invoices, Bills, Contract claims. Coordination with client etc.
- Must have experience in project banking, partnership (JV) accounting, financial preparations, cash flow, WIP, client billing, accounts payable and local payrolls
- Good English oral and writing skills are essential with analytical skills and attention to detail as well as good interpersonal skills
- Must be computer literate, previous experience in Focus, AccPac, Hyperion, SAP, Oracle, etc a major plus. Must have medium to advanced skill level in the Microsoft Suite, Word, Excel, Power Point, Access.
