Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Finishing Superintendent to oversee and manage the final stages of high-end finishing works on a number of new projects in Cairo in the Hospitality and Residential sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction, specializing in interior finishes, with the ability to deliver high-quality results that meet luxury standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate all finishing trades and contractors on-site, ensuring timely and quality completion of high-end interior works.

- Manage daily operations related to finishing phases, including painting, tiling, joinery, plastering, flooring, and MEP finishing.

- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and design intent, maintaining a keen eye for detail.

- Conduct inspections, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to ensure flawless finishes.

- Coordinate with other departments, architects, and designers to ensure seamless execution of the finishing scope.

- Maintain site safety and cleanliness, adhering to company and regulatory health and safety standards.

- Prepare and submit daily/weekly reports on progress, quality, and any delays or challenges faced.

- Ensure project handover is done according to schedule, without compromising quality.

Qualifications and Experience

- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field (Engineering degrees are not applicable).

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in high-end finishing works within commercial, hospitality, or luxury residential projects.

- Strong knowledge of high-quality interior finishing techniques, materials, and standards.

- Proven track record of delivering luxury finishes with a focus on detail, aesthetics, and craftsmanship.

- Excellent leadership, communication, and team coordination skills.

- Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings and finishing schedules.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.

Preferred

- Experience working on prestigious or high-profile construction projects.

- Familiarity with construction management software/tools.

Location Requirements

- Willingness to be based on-site and travel as needed.
