Job Purpose

Dynamic and experienced Manager to lead our Solar PV Systems department, focusing on the residential segment. The

ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing this department from the ground up, securing all necessary approvals

and registrations, and managing the execution of residential solar projects. This role requires strong leadership skills,

technical expertise, and the ability to navigate regulatory processes.

Department Establishment:

Develop and implement a strategic plan for the Solar PV Systems department focusing on the residential market.

Set up operational processes and procedures to ensure efficient department functioning.

Regulatory Approvals and Compliance:

Secure all necessary approvals from the Ministry of Electricity and Water (MEW).

Oversee the product registration process to ensure compliance with local regulations.

Ensure Alghanim Engineering is registered as an approved vendor with MEW.

Vendor and Subcontractor Management:

Identify, evaluate, and onboard qualified subcontractors for the execution of solar PV projects.

Manage subcontractors, ensuring they meet project specifications, deadlines, and quality standards.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers.

Project Management:

Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of residential solar PV projects.

Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Implement project management best practices, including risk management and resource allocation.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and manage a team of professionals to support the department’s objectives.

Foster a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing coaching and development.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Act as the primary point of contact for all residential solar PV inquiries and projects.

Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.

Skills

Skills, knowledge & experience required

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Business Management, or a related field. A

Master’s degree is a plus.

- Minimum of 8 years of experience in the solar PV industry, with a focus on residential systems.

- Proven experience in project management and department leadership.

- Strong understanding of MEW regulations and the approval process for solar PV systems.

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in project management software and tools.

Preferred Qualifications.

- Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent).

- Experience with vendor and subcontractor management.

- Knowledge of local renewable energy market trends and technologies.
