Responsibilities



  • Provides comprehensive level of assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
  • Provides high level of administrative and clerical support to the department.
  • Undertakes special projects to meet the objectives of the department.
  • Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follow-up on issues in a timely manner.
  • Collect and prepare background documents for various tasks.
  • Follow the university rules and regulations.
  • Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues.
  • Send statements to outstanding customers.
  • Data Entry of accounting transactions in the AU Financial System.
  • Assist with account reconciliation.
  • Assist with monthly closing.
  • Respond to inquiries and aging requests.
  • Prepare bank deposits.
  • Ensure the filing system is accurate and effective and the retrieval of accounting documents is quick and efficient.
  • Undertake other duties as required by the Director- Finance. 


Skills

Minimum Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any other relevant field.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in accounts receivable and general accounting.
  • Well developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
