We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Engineer to join our IT team for a one-year contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the security field, with a focus on network firewalls, endpoint detection and response (EDR), web application firewalls (WAF), distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) protection, email security, and network access control (NAC) solutions.
Your Tasks
- Design, implement, and manage network firewall solutions, including Fortinet and Palo Alto.
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using EDR tools.
- Configure and maintain WAF to protect web applications.
- Implement and manage DDoS protection measures.
- Ensure email security through appropriate solutions and protocols.
- Deploy and manage NAC solutions to control network access.
- Conduct regular security assessments and audits.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure comprehensive security measures.
- Stay updated with the latest security trends and technologies.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 5 years of professional and relevant experience in the security field.
- Proven experience with network firewalls (Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Strong knowledge of EDR, WAF, DDoS protection, email security, and NAC solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
