Purchasing Officer - Boost Auto Parts

Our company is seeking to hire a “Procurement Officer” who is interested in working in the

performance automotive parts industry. Kindly check below for the job details.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers
  • Track orders and ensure timely delivery
  • Prepare orders based on sales forecast & stock availability for automotive parts.
  • Create and process purchase orders
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Research potential vendors.
  • Negotiate contract terms of agreement, pricing and timelines.
  • Quality assurance of received product
  • Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into the company internal system.
  • Maintain and update records of purchased products and invoices.
  • Update the sales dept with the pricing.
  • Prepare reports on purchases, including cost analyses.
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders as needed
  • Coordinate with staff to ensure proper storage
  • Follow up with finance to ensure releasing payment on time to suppliers.
  • Calculate shipments costs and arrange bookings with nominated forwarders.
  • Follow up with the supplier and freight forwarder to ensure orders are dispatched.
  • Ensure that the shipping and customs documents are provided by the supplier prior to

shipment release.

  • Manage shipment discrepancy (Shortage and Excess)
  • Process warranty claims.

Requirements

  • Automotive knowledge.
  • Minimum academic level: Bachelor Degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Computer Literacy. (MS Office, ERP systems).
  • 3 years minimum experience in Procurement/Purchasing.
  • Join date: Immediately (preferable).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: KD180.000 - KD210.000 per month
