Relationship Manager

Job Purpose:

Efficiently manage high worth clients, providing high end services and maximizing profits along with creating good will for the bank.


Key Accountabilities:


Corporate Governance and Compliance: Work fully within risk policies and procedures and compliance regulations and ensure all divisional activities comply with corporate governance & regulatory/legal frameworks.

Policies & Processes: Develop and implement relevant policies and procedures and conduct regular reviews to remain relevant and effective.

Risk Management: Work alongside Risk Management in ensuring that the function works fully within the set frameworks, proactively monitor and report on risk exposure in order to enhance control effectiveness.

People management: Manage, motivate & develop employees and the team in line with ABK people policies & practices.

Target Planning: Achieve individual performance targets for income generation, product sales, and new client acquisition.

Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of client satisfaction with all products and services offered by ABK and ABK Capital.

Business Development: Collaborate with product specialists across various departments to promote relevant products.

KYC: Conduct Know Your Customer (KYC) exercises in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Sales: Prepare and implement sales plans to meet targets and ensure products are sold according to customer risk profiles.

Enquiry Management: Respond promptly and effectively to client enquiries and requests.

Client Management: Approach and engage at least seven new clients by offering tailored products and services while providing continuous high-quality customer service.

Market Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new product offerings and business strategies.

Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with existing clients to enhance loyalty and encourage long-term partnerships.



Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.


Experience:

Minimum of 5 years working experience of banking experience.

Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.


Knowledge:

Understanding of Retail Banking products and services.

Knowledge of Retail Banking practice and processes.
