Senior Biomedical Sales Engineer

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Biomedical Sales Engineer to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biomedical engineering combined with a passion for sales. This role involves promoting and selling biomedical products and solutions to healthcare facilities, research institutions, and other relevant clients. The Biomedical Sales Engineer will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, understanding client needs, and providing technical expertise to support sales efforts. Experience in IVF Lab Equipment or Operating Theatres is a plus.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets for biomedical products and solutions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the healthcare, research, and biomedical sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Provide technical support and expertise during the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and consultations.
  • Assist clients in selecting the appropriate biomedical products based on their specific requirements and needs.
  • Client Relationship Management:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met throughout the sales cycle.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or issues.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of client businesses and the challenges they face, positioning the company’s products as solutions.
  • Product Knowledge & Training:
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in biomedical engineering and healthcare technology.
  • Participate in trade shows, conferences, and other industry events to promote the company’s products and services.
  • Proposal & Quotation Management:
  • Prepare and deliver technical proposals, quotations, and contracts to clients.
  • Collaborate with the pricing and finance teams to develop competitive pricing strategies.
  • Negotiate contracts and close sales deals in a timely and professional manner.
  • Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor offerings, and potential areas for growth.
  • Provide feedback to the product development team on market needs and client feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, reporting on progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.


Qualifications:

  • Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or additional certifications in sales, marketing, or a related area is a plus.
  • Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, biomedical or healthcare industry.
  • Experience in IVF Lab Equipment or Operating Theatres is a plus.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a technical sales role.
  • Skills:
  • Proficient in both Arabic and English is a must.
  • Strong understanding of biomedical products, technologies, and applications.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel as required to meet with clients and attend industry events.
