On behalf of our EPC client, Petroplan is seeking a Head Of Discipline of Instrumentation to manage a team of lead engineers and oversee largescale projects.
This role is based out of Al Hamdi, Kuwait and is offered on a Residential basis with a long term Contract (Single Status), an All-Inclusive Monthly Salary, Medical and Visa
Job Overview;
As the HOD Instrumentation, you will lead the instrumentation engineering team across multiple projects to ensuring projects are delivered to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. You will oversee design and development, manage resources, coordinate with clients and contractors, and review technical deliverables. Your role will involve optimising instrumentation systems, enhancing capabilities, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
Job Purpose:
- Manage Leads and Discipline Engineers to ensure projects meet quality, safety, schedule, and budget requirements, while resolving technical issues and overseeing contractor deliverables.
- Approve technical deliverables, prepare tender documents, address bid queries, and manage client interfaces for input and clarification.
- Create proposals, technical reports, and scope documents, coordinate with consultants, and manage cross-discipline interfaces for integrated design solutions.
- Conduct site visits for design verification and issue resolution, enhance engineering standards, train engineers, and conduct workshops to improve skills while ensuring safety.
Job Requirements;
- Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. Engineering
- Total Experience: 18 years
- Oil and Gas Experience: 12 years
- Experience in Related Role/Specialty: 8 years
- Experience with Automation Software: 5 years
