Assistant Marketing Manager

Job Purpose:


  • Analyze, develop, plan, execute, and evaluate marketing programs & activities for Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' targeted customers, aiming to achieve brand & menu items’ sales & profit targets.
  • Boost Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' position in QSR by focusing on creative advertising & excellent promotions.


Responsibilities:


  • Analyze, plan, implement, track & evaluate national promotions and/or LSM to achieve Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' sales & profit targets for assigned LTO/AD & menu items.
  • Work closely with Operations & other related departments to ensure smooth and successful implementation of marketing programs & activities, ultimately providing actionable marketing insights for future growth.
  • Conceptualize, lead, and oversee the production of high-quality, consumer-appealing, and effective television, print & other advertisements in line with Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' brand positioning with support from the selected advertising agency.
  • Improve & enhance consumers' perception of Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins versus competitors through meaningful, value-added, and brand-relevant activities.
  • Initiate & conduct consumer, menu item & meal offer surveys/research, compile and evaluate the results to gauge consumer feedback & preferences on Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' offerings, and act on this data to add value to the brand.
  • Assist in liaising with external markets, drive specially assigned market research projects, and ensure adherence to standard market research protocols.
  • Assist in the ongoing management & periodical evaluation of Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' advertising agencies, ensuring objectives and deliverables are met.
  • Manage timelines and assigned marketing budgets to ensure deadlines are met, and spending stays within limits.
  • Monitor, analyze, and drive rewards and other loyalty or affinity programs to increase ticket averages & visit frequency of these members, boosting Krispy Kreme and Baskin Robbins' sales & profitability.
  • Undertake, drive, and complete all other duties, tasks & projects (including ad-hoc) as assigned by the Marketing Manager.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications in digital marketing or brand management are a plus.


Experience:


  • 3-5 years of marketing experience, with a strong focus on brand management and campaign execution.
  • Experience in the QSR (Quick Service Restaurant) industry or FMCG sector is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful marketing strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with market research, consumer insights, and promotional activities.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing platforms and tools.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and working closely with operations, sales, and creative departments.
