Van Sales Representative

Key Roles And Responsibilities


  • Visits assigned Sales Accounts following a daily route plan as specified by the Line Manager
  • Within these Sales Accounts, it is required to:
  • Use the hand-held scanner (M Force System/PDA) supplied and training given to sell the products
  • Assemble the goods properly in the van and deliver them to the customers using M Force and making sure that the customers’ needs are met
  • Achieves Monthly Sales Targets, in total and by category, in line with forecast figures
  • Ensures maximized product range distributions and availability for each customer or Sales Accounts
  • Delivers timely commercial communication to customers(e.g., new prices, new promos, new procedures)
  • Ensures to maintain customer relationship with trade customers
  • Executes and monitors promotional activity, supported by all available POS Materials
  • Handles van products/items appropriately and optimizes customer calls and delivery time efficiently
  • Prepares and maintains accurate records of customers, sales, stocks, FOCs use, including customer receipts, sales collections
  • Ensures on-time sales collection and closing of accounts invoices with Finance/Accounts Department
  • Ensures proper maintenance of vehicles (BLOWBAG) and correct goods storage, to protect product quality
  • Handles products/items appropriately and optimizes customer calls and delivery time efficiently
  • Adheres to Department Policies and Procedures
  • Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by the head/s of the department
