Specialist HR BP provides proactive HR advice, solutions and guidance to Executives, Leadership Team and colleagues at all levels within the designated Business Units. The responsibilities includes:
- Drive the manpower planning process and ensure adherence to the manpower budgets and appropriate staffing levels. Maintain the manpower budgets on designated systems.
- Participate in the Talent Acquisition activities by participating in the interviewing sessions together with the business.
- Coordinate with Compensation & Benefits Section on Merit/Inflation/any other proposed increments and secure business approvals on the same.
- Follow up with the Talent Acquisition team to secure timely joining of new employees and ensure smooth on boarding of new employees.
- Enhance the culture of performance and recommend improvement initiatives to the tool/mechanism used.
- Oversee the process of performance appraisal and Individual Development Plans and communicate to the Training Center /Talent Management and follow up on the execution of the IDP.
- Provide guidance and input to the business to identify potential talents based on the yearly performance reviews.
- Provide guidance and input to the business to identify potential successors.
- Review employee disciplinary requests, employee grievances and coordinate investigations with Legal department.
- Conduct face-to-face exit interviews and recommend retention strategies. Provide Exit Analysis reports to the executive management on a periodic basis.
- Review promotion requests ensuring alignment with HR Policy and secure CSO and HR Executive Committee approvals and follow up on implementation through designated systems.
- Establish the best possible professional relation with the designated business department(s) for better understanding of their business to support them in achieving their goals.
- Conduct job analysis in coordination with the job incumbent/Manager; write and update Job Descriptions.
- Design and maintain the current and proposed organization charts on designated systems.
- Ensure compliance to HR Policies and Procedures and conduct HR Audits.
- Coach and advise Managers and staff on HR Processes, Policies and HR Best practices and act as change agent for all HR programs.
- Oversee the Employee Engagement surveys, conduct the surveys at designated business units and participate in the interpretation and identification of areas for improvement and follow up on implementation of recommendations.
- Prepare Action Plans based on Employee Engagement Survey findings in coordination with the business with continuous follow-up on implementation.
19 Prepare HR metrics and provide HR reports to CSO and the business units, identify areas for improvement and set and follow up on action plans.
- Enhance the brand awareness of HR services as a Center of Excellence.
- Maintain the required data on designated systems (Organizational Management data, Job Descriptions, etc.).
- Propose and design Career Ladders in coordination with Compensation & Benefits Section ensuring proper approvals and implementation.
Minimum Requirements:
Educational Qualifications and Experience: Post Graduation diploma or Bachelor’s degree with 6 years of experience.
Linguistic Abilities: English and Arabic is a must.
Certification and Licensure: HRCI or CIPD.
