General Manager - AMPS

Responsibilities


•Meet and exceed objectives in sales and after-sales, driving profit, improving client engagement and satisfaction, and optimizing market penetration with efficient resource use in Kuwait's marine, diesel, gas, and on-site energy sectors.

•Focus on delivering exceptional solutions, growing the market footprint, increasing client satisfaction, and enhancing profitability.

•Deliver the OEM’s power generation and other comprehensive specialized product solutions suitable for diverse projects for clients in various sectors, including Technology, Manufacturing, Defense, and Oil and Gas.

•Responsible for devising strategic initiatives and ensuring their execution

•Develop and implement AMPS strategic plans that align with the overall Al Mulla Group objectives. Identify new opportunities for growth and expansion in various industrial markets.

•Lead and mentor a team of professionals. Provide guidance, support, and resources to ensure the team's success and professional development.

•Cultivate enduring relationships with clients, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders. Understand their requirements and work together to provide solutions that satisfy or surpass those expectations.

•Manage business unit budgets, expenses, and economic performance to maximize profitability and return on investment. Identify operational excellence opportunities and implement adequate financial controls.

•Stay updated on industry trends, competitor strategies, and updates, particularly in the retail and industrial domains. Leverage insights from market analysis to guide strategic decisions and pinpoint fresh prospects for the business.

•Ensure compliance with all Al Mulla Group rules and policies and relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing the respective businesses. Stay informed about regulation changes and ensure that all business units comply.

Education Degree

: Bachelor

Major

: • Electrical/ Mechanical Engineering with a background in Business Administration field. • Executive training in business management is preferred.

Experience

Years of Experience

: 15 - 20  Years


Field of Experience


: • Sales, marketing, and business management in the rotating equipment industry.

• Substantial experience at a managerial level.


Skills


•Demonstrated a history of effective management and team leadership achievements.

•In-depth expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, principles of risk management, and solutions strategies.

•A comprehensive understanding of business operations, specifically sales, management, finance, and controlling.

•Superb skills in communication, negotiation, and managing interpersonal relationships, as well as the capacity to identify issues, aggregate data, ascertain facts, and conclude effectively.

•Strategic thinker with a talent for problem solving and making well-informed decisions, as well as the capacity to identify issues, aggregate data, ascertain facts, and conclude effectively.

•Essential OEM technical experience is required.

•Extensive familiarity with rotating equipment products.

•Thorough understanding of compliance regulations related to anti-bribery and corruption.
