Sales Manager

  • Develop and implement channel strategies to optimize performance across all trade channels - Coops, Branches, Supermarket and Traditional Trade.
  • Identify and establish relationships with key trade partners and distributors to expand market reach.
  • Negotiate and manage trade agreements, including pricing, promotions, and distribution terms.
  • Monitor and analyze channel performance, adjusting strategies as needed to meet sales targets and market demands.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to create channel-specific promotions and campaigns.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of field sales representatives to achieve sales goals and drive business growth.
  • Develop and execute field sales strategies and action plans, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
  • Conduct regular field visits to assess performance, provide coaching, and gather market intelligence.
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and challenges in the field.
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive intelligence to inform strategic decisions.
  • Develop and implement customer engagement strategies to enhance satisfaction and loyalty across all channels.
  • Identify and address any issues or obstacles affecting channel and field sales performance.


Skills

  • Proven experience in trade channel management (Coops, Branches, Supermarket and Traditional Trade) and field sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a sales team.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in sales software and CRM systems.
  • Ability to analyze market data and derive actionable insights.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for field visits and trade partner meetings.
