POSITION SUMMARY:
Pharma & Healthcare Manager is in charge of the implementation of business measures, new guideline or strategies. He/she works to improve the working environment and business process of the company. The aim is to strengthen client relationships and ensure the successful continuance of business operations. Provide leadership, direction and administration in all aspects of Pharmaceutical Division activities, to ensure compliance with established goals and objectives of the Company and realization of quality services and other related lines of business.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Initiates organization-wide policies and procedures to facilitate the kind and type of organization needed to accomplish Pharmaceutical Division mission, goals, objectives and strategic needs.
- Develops and manages budgets for the Pharmaceutical Division, allocates funds within the budget and ensures operation within the budget.
- Participates in charting the course of the Pharmaceutical Division and responding effectively to the community’s developing needs and carries it out accordingly.
- Recommends and updates long-range plans which support the institution’s philosophy and general objectives.
- Recommends policy, positions regarding legislation, government, administrative policy and other matters of public policy related to the pharmaceutical division.
- Informs and advises the Chief Executive Officer regarding current trends, problems and activities in Pharmaceutical Industries to facilitate policy making.
- Participates and coordinates with Department/Sectional or Units for the selection of new members for appropriate Pharmaceutical facilities leadership committees.
- Coordinates with the Department Manager/ Area Managers Sectional Heads to respond to the community’s needs for quality healthcare services; and oversees the adequacy of the Division activities.
- Ensures company policy and procedure implementation in all aspects of the division
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies governing pharmaceutical rules and rules of accrediting bodies by continually monitoring the Divisional Operations and its programs and physical properties, and initiating changes if required.
- Serves as a liaison and channel communication between Executive Committee and appropriate Committee and/or Sectional Heads and /or Pharmaceutical Managers.
- Represents the Division, builds and maintains relationships with other Health Agencies, Organizations, Groups, Government Agencies and third party payers,
- Maintains professional growth and development through seminars, workshops and professional affiliations to keep abreast of latest trends.
- Participates in Divisional/Departmental Committee meetings as required. Attends and serves on appropriate professional/community organizations as company’s representative.
- Approves the recruitment and selection of new members for the Pharmaceutical Management and support staff.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
Skills
Excellent in relationship management, oral/written communication skills.
Have the skills in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve organizational goals, objectives and have strong leadership and excellent problem-solving skills.
Minimum Education: University Bachelor's degree in any Medical fields preferably with MBA Degree.
Preferred Education: Medical bachelor's degree in any medical discipline with Administrative and Management qualifications.
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in responsible operational and administrative leadership level or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience
