Job Summary/Purpose:

Oversee the rental and leasing operations of vehicles with a focus on optimizing fleet management, enhancing customer satisfaction, and ensuring strict adherence to company policies and leasing agreements.

Responsibilities:

- Operational:

  • Manage the vehicle leasing process from inquiry to agreement, review lease terms, and ensure close deals in compliance with company policies.
  • Participate with the Sales Manager in setting and tracking sales targets to achieve the RAC strategic plan; monitor actual sales performance against targets and take corrective actions.
  • Monitor vehicle inventory, coordinate maintenance of leased vehicles, and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Analyze market trends, to proactively identify opportunities for improvement, enhance competitive position, and to meet the evolving needs of customers in the vehicle leasing industry to improve market share and maximize sales potential ; submit periodic reports to RAC management.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to discuss sales strategies, address challenges, and maintaining team alignment to achieve business objectives.
  • Negotiate effectively to secure high-value deals while focusing on building mutually beneficial relationships for long-term business success.
  • Review and resolve escalated customer complaints promptly and effectively in order to achieve high customer satisfaction index and improved customer loyalty.
  • Identify customers through detailed data analysis and conduct targeted visits to promote leasing business thereby enhance customer engagement, increase conversion rates, and drive growth in leasing operations effectively.
  • Prepare marketing campaigns, promotions and advertisements to increase sales and customer awareness of RAC products and services.
  • Advise on the requirements and movements of vehicles to ensure a proper product mix is available for rent to optimize fleet, meet customer expectations, and drive business growth .
  • Ensure qualification of credit worthiness for all customers to avoid defaults and bad debts and legal cases.
  • Liaise with Legal Department to transfer defaulted clients to legal as per RAC policy.
  • Monitor sales performance in terms of sales and conversion rates and report on key sales metrics to management.
  • Work closely with relevant RAC departments and Finance to complete transactions and streamline processes.
  • Coach the team on effective sales techniques, customer service, and building rapport with customers in order to enhance their performance and achieve sales goals.
  • Ensure staff compliance with company policy and procedures.
